Eye Examinations

We strongly encourage all of our patients to have a routine eye examination once a year, as a part of preventive health care.  Our eye exams offer an in depth look at the individual health of the eye, and will help us to determine the best prescription to suit your visual needs.

Pediatric Examination

Experts agree that 80% of what a child learns in the first 12 years is obtained through vision. And, although vision is so critical, one out of every four children has an undetected vision problem that may impede learning.  Parents are often surprised to learn that most children rarely complain of vision problems, even though they cannot see properly.  According to the American Optometric Association, vision disorders are the fourth most common disability in the United States, and the most prevalent handicapping condition during childhood. Therefore, we believe that all children should have a complete eye examination well before they begin kindergarten; this includes infants.

Your child's vision health cannot solely depend on a simple school screening or a pediatrician.  Our office is pleased to see patients of all ages.  Schedule your child for a thorough pediatric eye exam today!
