Each of our doctors brings individual expertise and experience to our office to best serve all of our patients. The original private practice of Dr. Linda Bennett has come a long way over the past years. Linda Bennett began practicing optometry in Belmont twenty years ago upon the retirement of Angelo Afentakis, O.D. The original office was on Common Street and moved to Trapelo Road in 1994. In August 2004, Melanie Macbeth, O.D. joined the growing practice as a second doctor. In 2006, the practice moved to our current location at 231 Belmont Street in Belmont to better serve our growing family of patients.
We are proud to announce the addition of Rebecca Maida, Dr. Bennett's oldest daughter, to our growing practice. Rebecca graudated from The New England College of Optometry in June of 2008. We are very excited about the addition of a third doctor to further extend the eyecare services that we provide to our patients.
